The Institute of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a non-profit organization committed to increasing public awareness about ASD. The organization promotes projects, collaborations, and educational programs that advance a better understanding of and more hopeful conditions for people with ASD. ASD has been increasingly recognized and understood in recent decades. It is a complex neuro-developmental disorder that requires a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach in order to identify causes and develop better treatments. The Institute is committed to uniting professionals from different fields to work on projects that will lead to a better understanding of the special needs of individuals with ASD and in that way help them to reach their highest potential for independence, productivity, and fulfillment. The Institute also contributes to the development of Health, Educational and Social Policies that will foster a beneficial social environment for children with ASD and for their parents.
